My blog is where I share detailed wedding and engagement stories on my journey as a wedding photographer. You'll also find blogs about great venues and planners to connect with and tips on how you can make your wedding day the BEST day possible.
I first met Erika back in May of 2017. I was shooting The Big Pop Up, a taste tasting event hosted by Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Houston. I was introduced to Erika upon arriving and proceeded to shoot the event. A few weeks later I was excited to connect with her about shooting her wedding this April.
Our session together was literally jokes, laughs and almost having to destroy the 548 other photographers that were at Hermann Park (inside joke) the day we decided to shoot. It was packed with people. But one thing I love about engagement sessions is that it really is easy to forget about everything and everyone when you’re with the right person. Regardless of location or circumstance, when you focus on the right thing, great moments happen.
Right at sunset we decided to find a cozy spot overlooking the Houston skyline for one final shot. The best part of the entire day you ask? Dinner at Max’s wine dive where the fried chicken is to die for! Such a great city. Such a GREAT couple. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in just a few short months.
